Aruba Reef Dive Sites

Although Aruba has a worldwide reputation for spectacular wreck diving, this island off the coast of Venezuela also has some tremendous coral reef gardens for divers to visit. Most of Aruba's best diving sites are on the leeward side of the island. The western side is protected from the rougher currents and winds that blow in from the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. A sandy shelf, ranging from twenty to one hundred feet surrounds the island. Due to its calm, protected waters, water clarity, and one hundred and forty foot maximum depth, Aruba is ideal for beginner divers to go Reef Diving. Wreck dives in the area may require more experience, but any novice diver can explore the thriving underwater reefs off the western coast of Aruba. Below we have listed some of the most popular Reef Diving spots around Aruba. If you have any questions about these diving locales, or any other reef or wreck dive spots, please feel free to call one of our Aruba Scuba Diving experts.
